As a mother to my first child who was showing signs of imbalance, then sickness, and not reaching a diagnosis until he was twelve years old, the years in between showed me the path to a different way of supporting this health, and healing. A way that ultimately supported my three sons, who were all eventually diagnosed with the same genetic immune deficiency, all of whom went from under function, to thriving.

In holistic health, the focus is not solely on treating symptoms or managing disease but rather on promoting overall wellness and preventing illness by addressing underlying imbalances and supporting the body’s innate healing abilities. This approach takes into account various factors that contribute to health, including emotional well-being, the environment, exercise, nutrition, sleep and stress management.

As I started to focus more on the boys holistic health we tried practices that made use of the ancient art of Ayurveda, breath therapy, cold water techniques, exercise, juicing, homeopathy, hyper nourishment, preventative protocols, yoga and more …
