MY MORNING SMOOTHIE

I like to call this “my morning smoothie” because that’s when I desire it the most, but of course you can have it at any time of the day, and you must – try it that is 🙂 A meal in itself, jam packed with plant based protein and full of goodness, this creamy smoothie has the capacity to fill you up and keep you satisfied till your mid morning snack. If I know I will be out and about, I will double up on the serving size and will go till lunch. Perfect for people on the go, and a great post workout drink too.

YIELDS – 1-2 SERVINGS

Ingredients
  • Banana, frozen 1, peeled
  • Chia, Flax or Hempseeds 1 tsp
  • Non Dairy Mylk 250ml
  • Nut Butter (of choice) 1 tbsp
  • Wholegrain Oats
  • Spinach, I large handful

EQUIPMENT – HIGH SPEED BLENDER

Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into a high speed blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add more mylk for desired consistency.
  4. Drink and enjoy!
