PB, PUFFS + HEMP BARS

A no bake, all-natural sweet treat. These can be a little messy to make but that just makes the process more fun, and fun for little (and big hands) to get involved with. Choose 100% peanut butter where you can (smooth not crunchy), organic crispy rice cereal, if you can find it, 100% maple syrup and vanilla extract, to avoid unwanted and unnecessary ingredients, and vegan or dark cacao chocolate chips.

Ingredients
  • Dark Chocolate Chips 1.5 cups
  • Crispy Rice Cereal 3 cups
  • Hemp Hearts 1/3 cup
  • 100% Maple Syrup 1/3 cup
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
  • 100% Smooth Peanut Butter 1.5 cups
  • 100% Vanilla extract 1 tsp

EQUIPMENT – 8 INCH BAKING PAN

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl mix the pb, maple syrup + vanilla together.
  2. Stir until smooth.
  3. Now stir in the hemp hearts and crispy rice cereal.
  4. Take an 8in cake baking tin and line with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pan and pat flat.
  6. In a small pan add the extra peanut butter + chocolate chips.
  7. Cook on low until fully melted together, stir.
  8. Spread this mix evenly on top of the first mixture.
  9. Place in the freezer and allow to set for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove from freezer and cut into squares.
  11. Place any leftovers in a sealed airtight container in the fridge.
