NUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE

NUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE

A nut butter smoothie can be a delicious and nutritious way to support your kids immune health. Nut butters provide essential fatty acids that support overall cell function. Protein helps build and repair tissues, and essential nutrients that can boost health.

Adding 100% cacao powder is not only yummy, and a great replacement for processed powders but provides more nutrient content that you might imagine. Not only is cacao rich in antioxidants, helping to neutralise free radicals and inflammation in the body, and not only does it contain great sources of the minerals iron, magnesium and zinc, all required for optimum functioning of the immune process, but adding cacao powder can also enhance mood. Containing compounds theobromine and phenylethylamine, they help to enhance mood and promote feelings of well-being. A positive mindset and reduced stress can, can contribute to a more effective immune response.
