ELECTROLYTE WATER

Celtic sea salt offers an abundance of benefits (see below) due to its mineral rich content and natural harvesting process. The good news is that it’s really easy for your child to add this into their daily routine. I offer you the best two ways to do this, so your child can decide which one they prefer.

  1. Add a grain of Celtic sea salt into every large glass of water and drink or
  2. Place a grain of Celtic sea salt onto or under your tongue, allow to dissolve, then drink your large glass of water

The latter option is what our family loves most. I think it’s the zingy salty taste we all love! We keep a small pot of salt beside our water jugs in the kitchen so that it’s readily available and easy for everyone to remember. Shop here for yours.

Rich Mineral Content: 84 vital trace minerals including 3 forms of magnesium, calcium, potassium, and elements such as zinc, iron, and iodine. These minerals are essential for important bodily functions.

Electrolyte Balance: Celtic sea salt can help replenish electrolytes lost through sweating, exercise and/or hot weather, it does this through cellular function.

Cellular Function: Proper hydration is essential for optimal cellular function and overall health. Cells require water to carry out essential biochemical reactions, regulate temperature, remove waste products, and maintain structural integrity. Celtic sea salt helps support cellular hydration by facilitating the movement of water and nutrients into cells.

Supports Hydration: Adequate electrolyte balance is crucial for maintaining proper hydration levels in the body. Celtic sea salt helps regulate fluid balance, making it an excellent choice for athletes or those engaging in physical activity – and a superb and more superior option than sports drinks which are often high in added colours, sugars and preservatives.

Alkalizing Properties: Some proponents of Celtic sea salt believe that it has alkalizing properties, meaning it can help balance pH levels in the body and reduce acidity. Maintaining a slightly alkaline pH balance is thought to support overall health and may help prevent chronic diseases.

Unrefined and Less Processed: Celtic sea salt is notably less processed than regular table salt, which often undergoes refining that removes minerals and adds other agents. As a result, Celtic sea salt is considered a more wholesome option for use with food or when cooking.
