GOLDEN MYLK

Golden Mylk, named for its vibrant colour, derived from the beautiful turmeric spice, has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, particularly in Ayurveda, for its potential health benefits. Some of the those touted from those who drink it regularly include: anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, for digestive and joint health, to promote better sleep, for bone health, and for healthy skin.

YIELDS – 1-2 SERVINGS

Ingredients
  • Non-dairy Mylk (almond, coconut, oat etc) 1 mug
  • Black Pepper, a pinch
  • Organic Ground Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Honey, optional 1 tsp (depending on sweetness of mylk)

EQUIPMENT – HAND WHISK, SMALL PAN

Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients into a small saucepan.
  2. Begin to warm gently.
  3. Hand whisk until ingredients are combined.
  4. Continue to heat gently (mixture should not boil at any point).
  5. At your desired temperature, remove from heat.
  6. Drink + enjoy!
